Yoga Therapy: On-going class series every Thursday morning at 9am EST.

Yoga is often approached only as a form of exercise, and don’t get me wrong, it can certainly be a part of a well rounded fitness program.  However, Yoga Therapy offers a different potential.  Yoga can target the different soft tissues and joints in the body to release the grip of release the grip of muscular tension, improve joint function, amplify circulation and tune the nervous system.  When my body hurts or something feels off, honestly, 99% of the time I can work it out on my mat.  By combining what I know from manual therapy with Yoga, you get techniques that I simply call Yoga Therapy.  I’ve decided to share these techniques so that everyone can benefit from practicing Yoga in this way.  That’s why I teach an on-going Yoga Therapy series.  Each month has a different theme or focus area in the body.  Each week we learn to practice in a way that benefits that particular area of the body in a more focused way, while still offering a well rounded practice.  Classes are on Thursday mornings from 9-10am.  Can’t make it?  Just sign up for the class and I will send you the recordings which you will have access to for up to a week.   The 2026 fall Yoga Therapy Series begins Thursday September 3rd and our focus is the Sacrum and the Sacro-iliac joint; the place where most peoples lower back pain and hip pain stem from.  Reach out of if you have any questions.  I look forward to seeing you on the mat and in the office soon.
